Had some-one told me a few years ago that humans didn't need physical food to survive, I would have struggled to believe it. I'm sure many people in this forum feel the same way.

I wonder if there are people out there who have managed to eliminate the need for SLEEP?

Does any-one have any knowledge or thoughts on this?

Yes, but it is too complicated to formulate a usefull opinion.

I'll post again when I think of some practical application to the topic.

Yogananda wrote (in his Autobiography of a Yogi) that many yogis didn't need to sleep. They did, however, meditate for up to 20 hours a day!

About 30 years ago I took the Silva Method training https://www.silvamethod.com/ in which participants were shown how to get to the level of alpha brainwaves. It was recommended we could use the technique when we were very tired but needed to get something done.
