i started a new routine of going to the gym before work.

i decided to go to a high end gym with luxurious wellness facilities.

they have a salt pool, steam bath, sauna, tanning bed, etc.

it was a great choice.

on one hand it makes me feel productive to rise early and get some
exercise done, on the other hand the body feels really great and
cleansed after exercising and alternating the sauna and steam baths
with cold water.

it really starts the day right.

in most of the success / self-help literature, they emphasize how
important it is to establish regular rituals and routines, especially at the
start of the day.

basically if we start the day right, it's easier to make good choices during
the rest of the day.

i'm totally sold on the whole wellness thing.

especially the steam room, i love this stuff, it feels very refreshing.

it has made my skin much softer, too.

it also cleanses the airways, although i hardly have any mucus due to my rather good diet of predominantly fruits & veggies.

since the last entry i have been eating banana-smoothies, sweet apples, dates, date-smoothies, lettuce, spinach, steamed cauliflower, quinoa, potato, coconut oil.

the wellness thing is going "well"... Smile
