my food diary is pretty much the only activity left on this forum.

the type of people who are naive enough to believe the breatharian sham are
predominantly unstable people with irregular habits and uneven energy / motivation
due to caloric exhaustion.

most of 'em can't even muster up the energy to send off a post, so they just drop
off and you never hear from them again.

the whole breatharian thing is so sad and cruel. you literally have people starving
themselves, emotionally going off the deep end, their personal lives in shambles,
actually believing they can sustain themselves on nothing.

starving the body chronically and labeling it "spiritual/breatharian" ultimately leads down a
very bad path which might end in mental instability/pathology, hormonal disruption, low
digestive power, food intolerances, binging, depression, low self-esteem, low energy/motivation,
low productivity, irritability, low sex-drive, bad sleep, difficult relationships, mental problems etc.

i really & truly hope for people to wake up from believing this total and utter nonsense.

at the same time, i realize that for someone who wants to believe in the concept, no words will
wake them up... they're deeply invested in the idea for whatever reasons and they will ultimately
have to suffer the consequences of their actions.

breatharianism will leave you with nothing.

* you won't have money, because you didn't focus on producing & executing

* you won't have relationships, because you're too unstable and insane to be around

* you won't have health, because your metabolism and hormonal system is wrecked

* you won't have fitness, because your muscles are gone

* you won't have spirituality, because all you think is how to regain your health & make money

i thank god that i realized the warning signs early enough.

fortunately i had some healthy skepticism before even beginning to the experiment.

i now focus on worthwile goals, like building up my business, investing, exercising, while
fully nourishing myself with as much beautiful and fresh high quality foods as i want.

breatharianism is essentially a "spiritualized" new-age form of anorexia nervosa.

it's a newer and somewhat modified version of what in the middle ages was called "anorexia mirabilis".

the old "breatharians" like therese of kornersreuth, the water drinker of frasdorf, brother klaus, etc.
definitely suffered from this if you look at their lives. the lady from frasdorf actually had a goiter
in addition to her mental problems which slowed down her metabolism to a body temp of 34C.

starvation can be justified/legitimized in a miriad of different ways, but ultimately it's a mental
health issue that should be addressed as soon as possible, before irreparable harm is done
to the body.
