breakfast 845-945
4 mangosteens
1300g of apple bananas

lunch 330-430
1/7th of a pineapple juiced in mouth
200g cucumber
175g orange

dinner 5-6+
8 oz "soursop tea"
700g apple bananas
300g wok bananas


meditated 3 hrs
stood on hands 1 min
stretch 15 min

made "soursop tea" from rainwater + soursop leaves about 1.5L water + 60ish leaves+ boiled for like an hour. hopefully this will help get rid of my "cyst"

took a few hours off of work today and just rested in my tent, was super nice to do. feeling pretty drained now, but could be worse. i usually work like 5 hrs per day and sometimes it's pretty challenging so it's not like i'm not exercising because i'm lazy : )

also i've been eating so many different foods at one meal that it's hard to keep track of it allbut i've been editing in as i remember.

i want to write a little more aobut what life is like living at the center here but it will have to wait til i have time.

4 star apple ( too latexy not liking)
300g apple banana
had a decent amnt of coconut meat mature but just chewed up in mouth then spit out when changed flavour

will meditate 3 hrs
TONS TONS of mosquitoes here really upsetting me
more later
10-15 min stretching
30 sec hand stand

5.3.2014
started the day with strong determination not to eat or talk , just kind of didn't go work...

ended up going for a walk and ate some marang i and my new friend ( who i talked to of course haha)
had maybe 0.3m of sugarcane at 2pm
maybe 450g marang flesh at 2:30-3 pm

was grateful to make a new friend, just rested most of the day yesterday
sat for 4 hours in meditation hall

was really low on energy but feeling a lot better and more optimistic today.

~9am 5/8 pineapple juiced in mouth

75g chico sapote

3:30pm 200g cucumber
4:30 pm 1400g durian (400g edible flesh w.o seeds
4:30-6pm a lot of marang, maybe 700g+ edible flesh w.o seeds
one of the marangs i had was the best fruit i've had in my life by far

really ate a lot today but it's ok i've forgiven myself ; )

meditated 3 hrs
when i meditated from 230-330 i really was having a full stomach, iended up lying down for like 40 of the 60 minutes, which i really don't like to do, i like to always be sitting up. sometimes i do more meditation lying down like before sleep or when i wake up but i don't really count it unless i'm sitting up. which is kind of crazy because sometimes i go deeper into meditation lying ddown because i'm so relaxed, but it's also certainly possible to fall asleep
really felt lousy from overeating so much , just too much in stomach, but at least i guess fruit passes thru pretty quickly.

stretched 10 minutes

am a bit "worried" about sitting this 10 day meditation course because there's not big amounts of fruit there... and i don't really want to eat any cooked food especially salt. so , although i won't be fasting, it will be like i eat 5-600 calorie breakfast and then don't take another meal all day, and meditate like 8+ hrs every day. so we'll see how it goes. this is the meditation i'm doing right now www.dhamma.org - vipassana as taught by s.n. goenka. maybe as time goes on i'll give my thoughts on the technique- i definitely think it's worth checking out and sitting a course if it's convenient to you. every technique has its pluses and minuses, but if you can take the best from every technique / experience there is a lot to be gained.

~8:30 am maybe 150g of marang flesh
~10 am 500g oranges 300g cucumbers
noon juiced 1/2 pineapple, ate about 900g rollinia incl flesh+seeds
+150g cucumbers
1pm had maybe 3kg of marang, maybe ate 1200g of flesh
230 pm had maybe 225g cucumber
330pm had maybe 225 cucumber
530pm ~125g marang flesh, 250g? cucumber

i feel much better with 2 or 3 distinct meals of course, don't feel like writing more. meditated 3 hrs today, sitting from 230-330 on really full stomach was tough. meditation hasn't been easy lately, just thoughts racing the whole time it seems.
stretched 10-15 min, will hopefully do a few more before sleep. hopefully this marang tree stops producing or i get sick of it or someone else gets to all the fruit before me... i don't really mean that though.

will meditate 3 hrs today, missed 230-330, going to go from 6-8 : ) : ) ! ahhh. Big day tomorrow, hopefully won't be up too late but I have some obligation after 8pm which i'm not happy about really. But i will duck out early hopefully.

Anyways, i biked about 4 miles today, can't really write more as always due to time time time !
barely did any stretching just a few minutes, will at least stand on hands 1 minute now before i sit : ) this marang tree is amazing i was up probably 30 or 40 feet in it doing some risky things i guess to get fruit but didn't seem that risky and it's such an addicting intoxicating fruit.

also been sunny here, sungazed for a solid 15+ minutes this morning r.eally happy about that, the weather is turning for the better here it seems. xoxo. glad to c lovedimension going at it again too!

was posting fliers this day for dhamma.org, really draining, don't know if going into polluted city, driving around in a van, or talking to say many kind of agitated people ...really really did not like it.

also hanging out at the market and smelling durian was kind of torture, it's like 4.50 per pound, and most of the weight is shell, so i would say the flesh is like 11-12$ a pound. not sure on this estimate though i haven't bought or opened or ate many of them yet : )

730 am 600g marang flesh
930 am 400g cucumber
11 am 1 mangosteen
noon maybe 125ml of sugar cane juice
2 pm 500g oranges
2-4 pm 1800g lychees ( just in season starting now )
4-6 pm 1200g cucumbers

so i ate really a lot but no banana or avocado, but i couldn't sustain without those for longbecause they're such cheap staples here

meditated 3 hrs
stretch 10-15m
hand stand 1min

also did some major shopping. got another backpack for $2. and bought and ok machete for 23$ brazilian steel , about as good as a $3 one in kenya : )

now today ( 5.8 ) not planning to work so, think i'll see if any marang left to forage, hope to take it easy today, we'll see what happens. really hoping to dry fast on saturday , it seems like this will be a good day as the food is running low this day and its the day before the market, we'll see how i feel then. been re-reading hilton hotema man's higher consciousness a little bit but getting tired of books right now

did a lot of weeding this day and cutting down some pretty big trees with just machete, probably worked real hard for 2 hours, cleared off some citrus trees, one of whom might be dead but you never know, really pretty satisfying work that i just chose because i wanted to.
meditated 3 hrs
was real tired but still did some stretching and hand stand at end of day.

went to bed pretty early, like 730ish with a slight headache
worked a few minutes weeding bananas
few minutes sunbathing
pretty much lounged around all day. didn't really work. did a few stretches.
also i cut my arm up pretty good on friday with a sickle type tool attached to a stick that i was using to capture marangs. also today woke up saturday with some like pus coming out of my knee
doing really well lately. not looking forward to starting up with the work tomorrow but it will be ok : )

last night b4 bed i found some white discharge on my penis which i dont know when it happened but i never experienced waking up with a sticky leg or a huge energy drain like i always do with a nocturnal emission. so i don't really know what happened there, but was something must of happened in my sleep.

really had another epic ( epic fail maybe haha ) day of eating today.
i woke up pretty thirsty today which is rare for me, and i was kind of surprised considering how much more fluid i took yesterday than normal.
8AM~
700mL coconut water
1400g marang flesh ( about 4.5 marangs, i shared the last 0.5 cause was kind of full )
175g avo flesh
~930 a bit later 300g coco meat young


noon ( somehow i made my way to the market on such an already full stomach )

hopefully done for the day haven't done much exercises going to stretch at least 15 min and stand on hands 1 min, might sungaze if it comes out, been sunny a lot lately sort of been taking for granted. pretty lazy day which of course comes with overeating.

i'm having doubts about the climate here, it's too hot and the air feels a little stale even though i mean the air is pretty decent it's not like awful but -- been reading hilton hotema and missing other higher elevation places i once stayed for a short time. may look in to a higher elevation location around here but we'll see not a major emergency or anything but i dont know if i want this to be my permanent home : ( as nice as it is in many aspects.

my friend told me on monday like OMG you have staph infection you gotta go to hospital and get antibiotics and he was just really fearful and i was like eh whatever i don't wanna go.

3 hrs meditation today, assume 3 hrs every day unless i say otherwise.

was upset today because someone took my personal food ( 1 x marang ) and I kind of felt like it was mine but I didn't label it or anything, and I would of done the same thing if i found a ripe marang lying around. So... I really had no reason to be upset. but I was cause I'm crazy. Anyways I started my own personal food stash later on this day because I spend a long time foraging for food and it really tasted better than anything you can buy at the market, and I mean- I foraged it so it's mine I know maybe this sounds possessive haha- maybe it is. So be it.

830-9 few bites of marang
300g soursop tea- tasted kind of fermenty so I tossed it after this.
450g mamey sapote

9-11 800g cucumbers
